1. Install the Atlas Carta app on your iPhone or Android phone from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Take the guided Touti introduction to discover bidding, trumps, the rules of play and the Ghna, step by step.
3. Start your first game 2 vs 2 against other players, or create a private table and invite your friends.
4. Improve: climb the weekly leagues and sign up for the evening tournament when you're ready.

Touti is above all a game for a group of friends: you know your partner's habits, you tease each other over an overly bold bid. A private table keeps that atmosphere alive when everyone is at home. You play among yourselves, with the same rules as everywhere else in the app.

All the rules described on this site are the app’s rules. The points that most often surprise newcomers:

• You must play higher when you follow suit, unless the trick has already been trumped; if you can't follow suit, you must trump, even when your partner is winning the trick. See playing a hand.

• The Ghna are capped by the bid: none at 70, a single +20 at 80, 40 at most at 90, all of them from 100. See the Ghna.
